You are more than your performance.
THERAPY FOR CURRENT & FORMER ATHLETES.
Being an athlete can shape your identity, confidence, relationships, and definition of success. Whether you’re actively competing or navigating life beyond your sport, therapy can help you manage pressure and reconnect with who you are beyond what you accomplish.

The mental side matters, too.
Athletic performance is about more than physical preparation. Our work can help you strengthen the mental skills you need in competition while supporting the person you are outside of your sport.
Confidence under pressure
Build trust in yourself and respond more effectively when the stakes feel high.
Resilience and recovery
Navigate setbacks, injuries, mistakes, and changing expectations with greater flexibility.
Focus and preparation
Develop routines that help you stay present, prepared, and connected to the moment.
Identity beyond performance
Explore who you are outside of results, rankings, roles, or accomplishments.
Managing anxiety and perfectionism
Learn to work with difficult thoughts and emotions without letting them control your performance.
Communication and team connection
Strengthen leadership, boundaries, trust, and communication with teammates and coaches.
Support from someone who understands the athlete mindset.
As a former collegiate athlete, I understand how deeply sport can shape your identity, confidence, relationships, and expectations of yourself. I also understand that the qualities that help you perform—discipline, persistence, and self-reliance—can sometimes make it harder to recognize when you need support.
My clinical work and doctoral research have strengthened my understanding of the barriers athletes can face when seeking help. I bring that perspective into therapy and mental performance work that is warm, practical, collaborative, and grounded in who you are as a whole person.
Stronger minds. Stronger teams.
Mental skills training gives athletes practical tools they can use in practices, competition, and everyday life. I partner with teams, coaches, and athletic programs to create engaging sessions tailored to the team’s goals, challenges, and stage of the season.
Topics may include:
Confidence under pressure
Respond to high-stakes moments with greater trust and composure.
Team communication and trust
Build healthier communication, stronger relationships, and shared accountability.
Resilience after setbacks
Navigate mistakes, losses, injuries, and changing expectations.
Identity and mental wellness
Support athletes as whole people—not only performers.
Sessions can be offered as individual workshops, team discussions, or an ongoing mental-skills series.
